The author may be an attorney or non-attorney, administrator or staff member, marketing department representative, or even outside consultant, so long as the newsletter is written in the name of the law firm/law department.

An entry can only be submitted by a valid, current ALA Member.

The newsletter must be published in the name of the member.s law firm.

The nomination form, and two copies of the firm newsletter, must be sent to the address listed below.

The writing must have a publication date during 2009.

Newsletters only will be considered in this award category. A separate award is given for other materials and involves .Best Publication. and .Best Law Firm Compendium..
