The Burton Awards is proud to announce its newest addition to its family of awards, "The Legends in the Law Award." This award goes to an outstanding corporate general counsel whose corporation or business had gross revenues which exceeded $1 Billion in 2009

Morrison & Foerster 2010 Regulatory Innovation Award

Through the Burton Foundation, Morrison & Foerster has established the 2010 Regulatory Innovation Award to honor an academic or non-elected public official whose innovative ideas have made a significant contribution to the discourse on regulatory reform in the arena of corporate governance, securities, capital markets or financial institutions.

  • 2010 Best Law Firm Advertisement - Due March 26, 2010

    Defining the Award: The award is given for the best law firm advertisement which appeared in a publication in 2009. The advertisement may be devoted to publicizing the firm, a cause supported by the firm, or an effort worked on by the firm or its member.

  • 2010 Best Law Firm Compendium - Due March 26, 2010

    Defining the Award: The award is given for the best book or compilation published by or on behalf of a law firm devoted to analyzing either a single areas or multiple subject areas in law.

  • 2010 Best Law Firm Newsletter - Due March 26, 2010

    Defining the Award: The award is given for the best newsletter which presents either the ongoing work and efforts of the firm, or analysis of current issues in the law, or both.

  • 2010 Best Law Firm Profile - Due March 26, 2010

    Defining the Award: The award is given for the best presentation of a law firm. These materials or single publication must be prepared to showcase the firm and its benefits and capabilities.
