2009 Nomination Form for Corporate General Counsels
PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING CRITERIA
A supporting statement is required, not to exceed 250 words, explaining in the third person, why the nominee has been exemplary in defending or promoting a corporation, business or entity. The selection will be made on the following criteria: reputation in both the legal profession and as a proven authority in a specialized area of law; background and experience; complexity and scope of matters handled; global or national importance of issues confronted; and proven leadership.
A nominee must be - or have been - the General Counsel of a corporation whose gross annual revenues exceeded $1 Billion in 2008. There is no length of time that a General Counsel must have served in the position.
THERE IS NO FEE OR COST OF ANY KIND. Only one nominee can be submitted per law firm.
This completed nomination form together with a copy of the article should be submitted online at www.burtonawards.com and must be received by January 12, 2009. If mailed, the nomination form must still be filled out online and two hard copies must be sent.
